Join the Colorado Department of Human Services, the Colorado Attorney General’s Office, the Substance Abuse Trend and Response Task Force, and American Academy of Pediatrics –Colorado Chapter at the Substance Exposed Newborns Summit on November 2nd, 2017, hosted by Illuminate Colorado.
The Substance Exposed Newborns Steering Committee, coordinated by Illuminate Colorado, along with 8 hospitals across 5 healthcare systems has engaged in a yearlong collaborative discussing multiple topics related to substance use and prenatal exposures. Together, this collaborative drafted best practice recommendations in regards to these topics.
The Substance Exposed Newborns Summit on November 2nd is your opportunity to give input on those best practice recommendations and to help move our state forward to impact practice.
The summit will be held at the Renaissance Denver Stapleton Hotel on November 2nd, 2017 from 8:30am to 4:30pm. Self parking is available on site and will be validated. A limited number of rooms, available at a group rate of $149, can be reserved here before October 19th.

Colorado Substance Exposed Newborns Steering Committee
The Colorado SEN Steering Committee was established in 2008, as a subcommittee of the Colorado Substance Abuse Trend and Response Task Force.
