The Colorado Child Abuse and Neglect Hotline serves as a direct and efficient route to the county human service departments which are responsible for accepting and responding to child abuse and neglect inquiries and reports.
Some people are obligated by law in Colorado to report known or suspected incidents of child abuse and/or neglect. These mandatory reporters are part of the safety net that protects children and youth and have the ability to provide lifesaving help to child victims in our community.
