A Colorado Where All Children and Families Thrive
Strong economies and communities where our children thrive are built when we harness the power of government, business and philanthropy and the nonprofit sectors to effectively strengthen families together.
Our children are our future employees, leaders and neighbors. No matter where they live, children need high-quality experiences and loving relationships to support healthy development.
Everyone in the community needs to get involved to prevent child maltreatment.
How We Work
With a research-based approach that emphasizes building promotive and protective factors, we address systemic and multi-sector issues by collaborating with families and partners at the community, state and national level to develop and implement powerful programs, policies and initiatives that keep kids safe in Colorado.
In 2017, several nonprofit organizations in Colorado consolidated to leverage resources and increase capacity to more effectively prevent child maltreatment in Colorado. Since then we’ve grown exponentially in service of our mission to strengthen families, organizations and communities to prevent child maltreatment.

Like all parents, I have a ton of stuff going on. I overcommit to things, I always think there is more time in the day, and when I feel the crunch of obligations begin to weigh down on me, the dictator starts to come out.
